The University of Makati formally and publicly announces the opening of Search for Next UMak President

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants must possess the following minimum qualifications pursuant to Section I, Article VII of City Ordinance 2020-059:

  1.  Must have an earned Doctorate Degree; and
  2. With at least five (5) years of relevant administrative experience.

DOCUMENTARY REQUIREMENTS

Interested applicants must submit one (1) set of original and six (6) certified photocopies of the following documents to the Search Committee for President (SCP) Secretariat:

  1. Formal application letter addressed to the Chairman of the Board of Regents;
  2. Detailed Curriculum Vitae, signed under oath;
  3. A certified true copy of documents in support of the data stated in the Curriculum Vitae;
  4. Proposed Vision, Mission, and Development Goals for UMak;
  5. Certificates or clearances from the following government agencies, obtained not more than one (1) month from the date of filing of the application indicating that the applicant has no pending administrative and/or criminal case:
    1. Sandiganbayan (for applicants with a Salary Grade of 27 or higher)
    2. Civil Service Commission (CSC)
    3. National Bureau of Investigation
    4. Municipal or Regional Trial Court
    5. Ombudsman (for regular employees)
    6. Institution or company where the applicant is presently employed
  6. Philippine Statistics Authority-authenticated Birth Certificate;
  7. Medical Certificate of Physical Fitness issued by a physician from a government-recognized accredited health institution but not the same institution where the applicant is presently employed;
  8. Result of Neuro-psychiatric examination conducted by a physician from a government-recognized accredited health institution but not the same institution where the applicant is presently employed; and
  9. Duly accomplished CSC Form 212 made under oath.

The SCP Secretariat shall check the completeness of the required documents and shall make their initial report to the SCP. Should the SCP find that there are applicants who lack the necessary documents, the SCP must immediately refer to the Board of Regents whether or not the applicants will be advised to complete the documents and continue the process.

The documents must be submitted not later than 5:00 PM of February 24, 2023, to:
